Please let it be known that majority of the issues will be found in the local surf shops listed. We have also decided to print 1000 copies instead of the original 250. There will be plenty out there. If you do not get an issue, it will be available online as a digital version.

May 11, 2010:
Today was our last day in OC getting sponsors and we must say that SMF is already a success. The local community has stepped up and shown to us that they ARE all about the local surf and skate industry. You can check out the full crew that has supported SMF on our "shout outs" page. We cannot stress enough that it's your turn now... let the businesses know you appreciate their generosity.
We have also contacted a couple local guys that will be working on a video for SMF. We will be sure to let everyone know who is hooking us up and what they are all about. Once we know more, we will get it up on the site and give you all the scoop.
As for SMF production, we are in the final stages!
May 10, 2010:
Thank You to everyone I have spoken too in the past few days. Today we had a great response. We picked up 3 more sponsors and potentially a few others. PLEASE, check out the "shout outs" page and visit the people who make SMF possible. The local shops have really stepped up and are truly showing their appreciation and dedication to the local community.
The time is nearing for SMF to be sent to the printers. Keep your fingers crossed for a smooth production and a quick distribution.
We have also received an extrordinary amount of interest for for getting involved in the next issue. Keep emailing us and we will be sure to accomodate everyone to the best of our ability.
SMF will officially have a Release Party at Mothers Cantina on June 12th or 13th. This is a couple weeks after the magazine has been released. May 5, 2010:
Picked up the mach copy of the magazine and it looks great. The quality is A+ and we feel very confident that you will agree. SMF offers the best quality over any other free rag mag that you've proabaly gotten' your hands on.
We are hitting the streets in OC tomorrow afternoon, May 6, so let people know we are in town and on a mission!
May 4, 2010:
We just ordered our mach copy of the first issue & will be hitting the Ocean City scene this week for sponsors and new supporters. Any shops or business that choose to be involved will be provided with stickers and posters to let you know that SMF is available at that establishment. So look for them in your local Ocean City community!
It's looking like SMF will be 52 pages. This number is tentaive and can change with additional sponsors. If the first issue doesnt receive the response we are hoping, we will be hitting the streets to see what the community is looking for. After all, this is a magazine built by the community, for the community. So let us know what you think on our "contact" page.
We are still on schedule for May 31 distribution. If things change we will be sure to let you know!
Shortly after distribution of SMF's first issue, we will be posting some photos of swag available for purchase. We will be placing several group orders throughout the year. Keep an eye out so you can get your own SMF gear. In the mean time, If you know of something you already want then let us know and we can see what can be done.
